Google keyword research is more crucial than ever before, as Google adwords is now the world's #1 ad network.Google's empire spans over 4/5 of all users in a host of languages.

With such reach, the competition grows by the minute. Google is making a killing.More than $4b in 2007 from adwords. I dont know how much of that money came from profitable ads, but my guess is more advertisers lost money than made money on the ads.

Finding the right keywords: it's really only abou the keywords. If you dont have the right words that people are searching for then you won't be getting any hits on your ads. Even worse than that is if you get clicks form people uninterested in what you have to offer.

This is a classic catch 22 situation.

You want the clicks, but you dont want every click. One click from the correct individual is worth millions of clicks from others. You really need to be careful that the keywords you use are the ones suited to searchers looking for your solutions.

However, for you to do this manually takes time and effort. And worse, it may not even pay off in the end. Having spent all that time inresearch, now you will need to test them out. Wait! There are many stages to go. Having the magic keywords is not worth anything without having the keywords in the right combination. It is like you took a math test and the correct answer was 756.

Miss the answer by one and you are totally wrong. There are no scores for getting it almost right. Its very similar in PPC. People are not just searching for specific words. They are searching for specific words in a specific order & specific combination.

To get the right client, you need to be extremely on the ball. So you really need to carry on researching and testing so that you find out the most successful cmbinations.

the truth is, this is just the beginning. That you need to find out what products your competition are promoting in combination with the landing pages and keywords & keyword combination that are making them a profit in order to make serious money. There is a solution to this issue.
